I’ve fallen behind. No, not on NaNoWriMo. Okay, yes I’m behind there too, but that’s not what I meant. I meant I’m falling behind on watching Geek & Sundry’s episodes of The Story Board.
In case you are unfamiliar, The Story Board is an hour-long discussion by writers about writing, hosted by Patrick Rothfuss. New episodes premiere the first Tuesday of every month.
Here’s episode three, with guests Terry Brooks, Cherie Priest, and Brandon Sanderson. It’s titled “Form and Function,” but c’mon, with talent like that, I could listen to them talk about anything writing-related.
And here’s the fourth episode, featuring Myke Cole, Peter V. Brett, Saladin Ahmed, and Naomi Novik. This one is called “The Play’s the Thing.” I’m a big fan of these writers, but this episode might not be for everyone. It’s about storytelling in roleplaying.
Be sure to subscribe, so Geek and Sundry can keep putting out great programming. Have a good weekend, and good luck meeting your word counts, everyone.
