I wrote a new article for Fantasy-Faction. It’s about diversity in secondary-world fantasy and how fantasy is often improved by making it more diverse. I was a little nervous when I sent this one in. I like being provocative, and I know this is a sensitive subject. I didn’t know if they would be positive or negative, but I expected a lot of comments. Sure enough, there were a lot. And nothing is harder for me to avoid than commenting.
And then I saw that the fantasy subreddit picked it up. I had to stop reading when I saw people making assumptions about me, my writing, and my article, as much as I wanted to respond.
Anyway I hope you enjoy the article. And even if you don’t, if it gets you thinking about the topic, that’s great too.
