Tonight we read Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willems. At first, when the pigeon asked if he could drive, Anna said, “Yeah!” Eventually, she learned that pigeons shouldn’t drive buses, but she wasn’t super enthusiastic about it. She would only softly answer “no.” At least until the pigeon said, “I bet your mom would let me,” to which Anna said, “NONONONONONONO!” So it’s been a pretty funny night, especially considering how small the vocabulary is.
