Sorry I only posted one story yesterday. Not only was I very busy at work, but I was little preoccupied with another matter. You see, my wife and I are petsitting for friends of ours. They were kind enough to watch our dog, Scotch, for a few days, so we are returning the favor and watching their dog, Roxy, for a few days.
Roxy is a two-year-old Shepherd mix, and still sometimes displays the energy of a puppy. Although very well trained, she is a bundle of energy. Scotch is a six-year-old Cocker Spaniel, and because he is a bit older, he is pretty calm and sedate. They get along, but in a passive aggressive sort of way. They don’t bark or snap at one another, but they will try to take each other’s beds, chew on each other’s toys, and drink and eat from each other’s bowls. I was worried Roxy might miss her mom and dad (this is their first vacation without her, I believe), and she may feel uncomfortable in a new place. Turns out I had nothing to worry about.
That’s Scotch in the front, in his natural position, “The Belly Rub Beg,” and that’s Roxy in the back, posing so nicely, but wondering who I am and that thing I’m holding is.
