Mourning Gabriel Garcia Marquez

It appears that due to dementia, Gabriel Garcia Marquez will no longer write fiction. The world is worse for that. If you haven’t read ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF SOLITUDE or LOVE IN THE TIME OF CHOLERA, pick these books up and start immediately. I hope you enjoy his stories of magical realism as much as I do. If you have read them, check out this 1981 article from the Paris Review in which he details his writing process (HT: Andrew Sullivan)
