So now that San Diego Comic Con is over, people are looking back at the posters, the panels, and the trailers, deciding who had the best moments and who had the worst. A great display can energize the fans, while a bad show can have fans walking away before a TV show or movie even premieres.
It seems that across the board, The Walking Dead was one of the big winners of San Diego Comic Con. Why? Because The Walking Dead trailer kicked ass. Check it the trailer below (AND BE SURE TO STICK AROUND TO THE VERY END FOR A BIG SURPRISE):
I know, right?! First, not only do we get to see more of Michonne and the Governor, but we get a much better sense of the setting for season 3. Second, the Governor and Woodbury. So peaceful, so beautiful, so Stepford Wives. Too good to be true, right? And where did the Governor and his goons get all that fire power? Second, the prison. How creepy and terrifying does that place look? It’s like a haunted house where you can be killed at any moment. Hand to hand, inch by inch, and is that Carol with a rifle? But the group thinks they can hold it from the Governor? C’mon, it’s way too much property for a group that small to hold, especially against someone like the Governor who has way more people, equipment, and time (can’t they just put the prison under siege? Where will the group get food?). This could get interesting. I can’t wait for season 3 of The Walking Dead.
And c’mon, that big reveal at the end? That’s going to be a ton of fun to watch that play out. What do you think of the trailer? Have you given up on The Walking Dead? Or did that trailer turn you into a fan again?
