Well, the U.S. Mens National Team lost yesterday. The World Cup is over for America. It was an very exciting game, going into extended time, and the Yanks almost had chances to equalize and force penalty kicks, but alas.
On the bright side, however, American goalie Tim Howard looked incredible. He had 16 saves, the most ever in World Cup history. Without him the game wouldn’t have been nearly as exciting (and by focusing on his efforts, I can avoid having to comment on an American defense that allowed Belgium to get that many chances).
