I didn’t post last night because Anna had a babysitter while Laura and I went to check out a new concert venue in town, The Anthem. We saw The Decemberists, and while I was hoping to hear “The Legionnaire’s Lament,” it was still a great setlist. Like a true old man, I even bought a pair of earplugs for the show, and if you are in the market, go for a pair of high-fidelity plugs. You can still hear everything, even conversation. Basically, they just lower the volume by 20dB or so. Nothing was muddied or garbled. The only difficulty was not knowing how loudly to talk.

In the meantime, we are trying to get Anna down to one nap per day. It’s been hit or miss, but we did it yesterday, and we got our morning back (we went to the grocery store, ha). I hope we can make this work. It’s nice for all of us to be able to leave the house for a few more hours in the day.
