I voted this morning. I had to wait about an hour and twenty minutes in line. But compared to voters in Florida or New York, I had it easy. Yeah, it was cold. But so what, right? It’s important. And as an added bonus, I live in a potential swing state (Virginia), so that makes things extra exciting.
Look, no candiate is perfect. When we operate in a two party system (for all intents and purposes), the number of voters who sync up perfectly with a candidate’s platform will be very small. I think most voters will hold their nose to some degree regardless of whom they vote for. I just hope you are aware of the strengths and weaknesses of your candiate. And I’d ask that you vote for something, not against something.
But the important thing is to vote. So get out there, get in line, and vote.
